Katherine Bertrand
About
Attorney Katherine Bertrand earned her law degree from Western New England University School of Law. While there, she was a quarterfinalist in the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. During her first year, she was named one of the Best Advocates during the Lawyering Skills Oral Argument Competition. She also served as a student attorney in the law school’s Global Justice Clinic. Working at the Clinic reinforced the importance of attention to detail and precision to ensure clarity and accuracy in her legal writing.
Before law school, Katie attended the University at Albany – SUNY, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, summa cum laude. Thereafter, she developed her strong commitment to advocacy, case management, and client relations as a litigation paralegal.
Katie began at RisCassi & Davis, P.C. during the summer of 2023 as a law clerk and was hired by the firm as an attorney upon admission to the bar in 2024.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Katie can be found spending her time outdoors hiking or tending to her garden and spending time with her family.
